Paris in 72 hours

Are you planning a weekend trip to Paris and wonder what to do? If yes, you may find this post very useful. Paris is one of the most beautiful and magic places in the world, beloved for its artistic spirit, so it is impossible to see everything in just 3 days. Nevertheless I collected some ideas from my recent trip. (If you want to see more photos from Paris, click here to see my post from last year.)

1. Montmartre and Sacré-Coeur

Montmartre is probably my favourite district of Paris. This is where you can feel the art. The first thing that comes to your mind thinking about Montmartre is probably Sacré-Coeur. Not only the Basilica itself is outstanding, but also the view from the top is breathtaking. Although it takes 300 steps to climb to the top, trust me, once you are there, it's all worth it!

2. Trocadéro

You don't have to go to Champs de Mars to feed your eyes with the Eiffel Tower view. You can go to the other side of Seine and admire this one of a kind construction  from Jardins du Trocadéro.

3. Louvre, Palais Royal and Jardin des Tuileries

These three places are just next to each other and definitely worth visiting. If you appreciate art and architecture, Louvre and Palais Royal are the two stops in Paris you cannot miss. And where better rest after cultural visit in Louvre than in one of the most beautiful gardens in Paris - Jardin des Tuileries?

4. Angelina and Café Kitsune

After a busy day you are most certainly starving. What about delicious Macha latte and petit gâteau from one of Paris’ most renowned tea houses? Sounds great? Lucky for you there is Angelina just few steps from Jardin des Tuileries, where you can have a little treat (I dare you to choose just one!) and Café Kitsune that offers delicious Macha latte to pair with your dessert.

5. Arc de Triomphe

Can't get enough of breathtaking views over Paris? Great! Then I have another place for you to visit. If you are still not tired after strolling  around Paris, you can climb 284 steps to get to the top of Arc de Triomphe and  admire the unforgettable view (and if you are as lucky as me you can also witness some magic).

6. Galeries Lafayette and Printemps

Looking for luxury, truly Parisian shopping experience? Book yourself a day at the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps and when you are done with shopping you can take a lunch breake on the panoramic terrace of Printemps and once again enjoy breathtaking view, this time without climbing 300 steps!
